The Memorial Garden at St. Gregory’s was dedicated in the spring of 2004.
It was created by the community of St. Gregory’s as a place for celebrating festive occasions, as well as for contemplating the mysteries of God in quiet solitude. Open to the public, the Garden was voted Hudson Valley Magazine’s “Best Place to Escape the Hubbub of Woodstock.” As you enter the main gate, your eye moves down a shaded aisle to a central fountain. A stand of birch trees marks the end of the garden. Beautiful perennials and annual flowers on either side of the main aisle provide a feeling of enclosure and peace. The garden invites reflection, serenity, and security.
