The Memorial Garden at St. Gregory’s was dedicated in the spring of 2004.
It was created by the community of St. Gregory’s as a place for celebrating festive occ
asions, as well as for contemplating the mysteries of God in quiet solitude. Open to the public, the Garden was voted Hudson Valley Magazine’s “Best Place to Escape the Hubbub of Woodstock.” As you enter the main gate, your eye moves down a shaded aisle to a central fountain. A stand of birch trees marks the end of the garden. Beautiful perennials and annual flowers on either side of the main aisle provide a feeling of enclosure and peace. The garden invites reflection, serenity, and security.

Consider celebrating your special occasion in the Garden at St. Gregory’s.
The
Garden at St. Gregory’s is secluded behind the church. It is entered through a gate opening to a long walk lined with star magnolia trees and spring-flowering bulbs. The walk leads to a large stone-paved area 25’ wide by 50’ long. The space can accommodate seating for up to 100 people. At one end is a stone altar, and beyond that are a cascading fountain and pool surrounded by four color-scheme flower gardens.
